On the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and January 14 - Defenders of the Motherland Day, a festive event was held at the Nizami National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan under the slogan "The National Army is the shield of the Motherland, the guardian of our world!" under the title "The people and the army are united body and soul!". The event was opened with an introductory speech by the first vice-rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and educational Work, Rajapov Vokhobjon Turadzhonovich, who conveyed to the participants the festive congratulations of the rector of the university. Then the dean of the Faculty of Military Education, Lieutenant Colonel Turaev Jahongir Anvarovich, made a report. In the artistic part of the event, students of specialized schools presented a festive military demonstration performance; students of the Faculty of Military and Vocational Education performed artistic performances; the Central Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan also performed. Students of the Faculty of Military Education of the Nizami National University of Higher Education demonstrated demonstrations by the honor guard and hand-to-hand combat units. The event was attended by relevant vice-rectors, deans of faculties, heads of departments, deputy deans, heads of departments, faculty and staff, tutors, as well as students.
