The National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan named after Nizami hosted an international forum on the topic "Forum of Multicultural and International Cooperation: strengthening cooperation between educational organizations of Korea and Uzbekistan in a global and multicultural society." The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, as well as leading educational institutions of the Republic of Korea — Chongju Pedagogical University, the Korean Educational Center, Bucheon University of Tashkent and Visang Education Company. During the forum, issues of teacher training and the development of teaching the Korean language were discussed. During the sessions, an exchange of experience took place on working with gifted children based on the Korean experience, improving curricula, as well as introducing artificial intelligence and digital technologies into the educational process. The guests highly appreciated the ongoing reforms in the education system in Uzbekistan and expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with the university. "This forum helps to strengthen academic cooperation between higher educational institutions of Korea and Uzbekistan in the field of teacher training," said Farkhod Alisherov, Vice—rector for Research and Innovation at the Nizami National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan. — During the meeting, issues of introducing innovative approaches to teacher training, adapting curricula to the requirements of the labor market, as well as developing Korean language teaching based on modern pedagogical and digital tools were discussed. Special attention was paid to improving the quality of education through the integration of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, the training of teachers with global competencies and the adaptation of advanced Korean experience to the educational system of Uzbekistan. This creates a solid foundation for the implementation of joint programs, academic mobility and research projects in the future. During the event, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan named after Nizami and the Korean company Visang Education. According to the document, the parties will jointly implement digital transformation and innovations in the field of education based on artificial intelligence, as well as expand the teaching of the Korean language. In addition, the company presented the AllviA Connect Learning platform to the university, which has proven itself as an effective tool in teaching the Korean language. This platform will be gradually introduced into the university's educational system starting this year. It is also planned to introduce the platform in other pedagogical universities in 2027-2029. By 2030, it is planned to create a full—fledged educational ecosystem based on artificial intelligence, and further expand the possibilities of teaching Korean and other foreign languages in cooperation with international organizations such as KOICA. This international forum serves to promote the exchange of experience between educational organizations of Korea and Uzbekistan, strengthen scientific and cultural cooperation and bring partnership in the field of education to a new level.
