About Us

Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami is one of the largest scientific and educational centers in our republic, boasting a rich history and well-established academic traditions. The university's highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff ensures that students receive top-tier, quality education.

The institution features comprehensive infrastructure at the disposal of both faculty and students, including modern academic buildings, laboratories, an information resource center, an electronic library, an information technology center, a printing house, a sports complex, a museum, training and retraining centers, an educational camp, student dormitories, and dining halls.

The teaching profession is, without a doubt, the most honorable and noble among all career paths. Every individual, regardless of their eventual profession, receives their very first lessons from a teacher. The profound responsibility of this noble calling lies in nurturing a healthy, knowledgeable, and free-thinking generation that will build the great future of our Uzbekistan. This demands immense patience, dedication, and selflessness from every educator.

To train such professionals, the educational institution was originally established in 1935, and in 1947, it was named the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute named after Nizami. In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 24, 1998, "On the Organization and Management of the Activities of Academic Lyceums and Vocational Colleges," the institute was granted the status of Tashkent State Pedagogical University. It was designated as the primary higher education institution for training qualified pedagogical personnel for academic lyceums and vocational colleges, placing a significant and proud responsibility upon the university's faculty.
