Safe educational environment and professional ethics

A round table on "A safe educational environment and strengthening professional ethics and professional boundaries" was organized at the National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan named after Nizami with the participation of male teachers and staff. During the event, issues of compliance with the principles of safety and mutual respect in the educational process, teacher responsibility, professional boundaries in the teacher–student relationship, the framework of official communication, as well as the inadmissibility of personal contacts were comprehensively discussed. Explanations were also given on preventive mechanisms aimed at combating harassment and violence against women, the anonymous appeals system, internal monitoring processes and legal responsibility.
