UZBEKISTAN NATIONAL PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER NIZAMI HAS ACHIEVED A HISTORIC RESULT!
January 16, 2026 became an important historical date for the Uzbek National Pedagogical University named after Nizami.
The University has two bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Biology, as well as two corresponding master's degrees in Methods of Teaching Exact and Natural Sciences (chemistry). and Methods of teaching exact and natural sciences (biology) — have been successfully accredited by the reputable international agency ASIIN (Germany).
These educational areas were the first in the Republic of Uzbekistan to receive ASIIN accreditation and were awarded an international accreditation certificate valid until September 30, 2030. This confirms the full compliance of educational standards, methodological support of the educational process, the potential of the teaching staff and the quality of scientific research of the university with international requirements.
Thanks to these certificates, the following results are achieved:
International recognition — as a result of accreditation, graduate diplomas are recognized in Europe and other developed countries.
Entering the global labor market — graduates of educational programs in chemistry and biology get the opportunity to work in foreign educational institutions and industrial enterprises.
Improving the quality of education — methodological recommendations and evaluation criteria provided by ASIIN experts contribute to the further modernization of the educational process.
Wide opportunities for scientific cooperation — a solid foundation is being created for the implementation of joint programs, academic exchange programs and research projects with universities in Europe and other regions.
The first experience at the national level
The achievement is of particular importance, since it was recorded for the first time in the field of pedagogical higher education in the republic. This is a clear evidence of the harmonization of Uzbekistan's education system with international standards.
Ample opportunities for graduates
From now on, graduates of these fields have the opportunity to continue their studies at graduate or doctoral degrees in foreign universities, work as teachers or researchers in international educational institutions, enter the global labor market in the biological and chemical industries, and participate in international grant projects.
This success once again demonstrated the commitment of the Uzbek National Pedagogical University named after Nizami to quality education and international integration within the framework of strategic development. Thanks are expressed to the university's management, faculty and partners for their active participation in this historic process.
With this result, we have not only confidently entered the international educational space, but also further increased the prestige of Uzbekistan's education system.
