Prospects for Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan Cooperation in Education Discussed

Today, Hilola Umarova, Rector of the Nizami State Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan, met with Rashad Mammadov, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on further developing the university’s established ties with higher education institutions in Azerbaijan, expanding academic exchange opportunities, and exploring prospects for implementing joint academic, educational, and cultural projects.

The parties agreed to work together to give future initiatives concrete practical substance and to further strengthen educational, scientific, and cultural ties between the two brotherly nations.
