Cooperation between the National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan and the Cambridge University Press & Assessment organization at the University of Cambridge has reached a new stage.
A new cooperation agreement was signed between the parties. This agreement is aimed at the joint development of educational programs for the training of modern teaching staff that meet international requirements, in accordance with the priorities of national educational reforms and the transformation program. Within the framework of the cooperation, special attention will be paid to the introduction of a competence-based approach and inclusive education skills into the educational process.
The cooperation provides for the implementation of reforms aimed at studying and analyzing the existing system, joint development of curricula, training and advanced training of teaching staff based on new programs, as well as support for the implementation of these programs. The teaching aids developed within the framework of the program will be used in all state pedagogical institutions.
As you know, in the 2026-2027 academic year, a Higher school of preschool and primary Education will be established at the university. In this regard, appropriate measures are being implemented to develop a teacher training system in these areas. The cooperation established with the Cambridge University Press & Assessment organization is the result of ongoing efforts in this area and is important in terms of improving the teacher training system in our country.
In addition, representatives of our university visited the School of Management at University College London (UCL), where issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
