Fight ignorance with enlightenment!

A preventive event on the following topics was held at the National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan named after Nizami: "Fight ignorance with education!" and "The priority of dignity and human rights is the foundation of development." The event was opened by the first Vice-rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work of Vokhobjon Rajapov University. He noted that the formation of a healthy spiritual environment in an educational institution is an important factor in educating young people. During the event, the university advisor Z. Ziyamov, as well as specialists from the Tashkent City Administration of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Z. Mardonov and N. Nurillaev provided explanations on religious literacy, tolerance, and protection of youth from various misinterpretations. Employees of the Tashkent city police department S. Kakhkhorov and U. Otakhonov stressed the need to prevent offenses among young people, ensure information security and enhance legal culture. As part of the event, an open dialogue and a question and answer session were organized with the participation of faculty, tutors and students. This meeting served to enrich the legal consciousness and spiritual outlook of the youth.
